WOMEN'S APRON QUESTIONS

Do your aprons come in larger sizes?

Yes, we can totally create a custom piece for you -- we will need to know your waist, bust, and hip measurements in order to give you a price quote as there is an additional fee for alterations.  If you need help with getting these measurements, check out our sizing information page.  Once you have these measurements, just shoot us out a message on our contact us page -- be sure to let us know which apron you are wanting to customize as well as your measurements.

Are these aprons really for cooking?

We offer a wide variety of aprons here at Bambino Amore.  Some are more suitable for cooking with than others.  For instance, we would totally not recommend cooking/baking while wearing an apron covered in bridal lace with accents of ruffled lace trims -- that just wouldn't be too smart since you could totally ruin it with food or heat.

Each apron will have the care instructions on the product page and there is an apron care portion to our site as well.  We recommend using your best judgement as to whether you think your new super awesome Bambino Amore apron would be something you would like to cook in!

If not for cooking then what are the aprons used for?

Our aprons are really so awesome you won't want to stop wearing them!  They are perfect for business owners, bakery owners, photos, special events, birthday parties, catering events, trips out to theme parks, pinup girls, burlesque performers, comic-cons, Halloween costumes, costume parties, and so much more!  You're seriously only limited by your own imagination :)

What's the deal with "made-to-order" (MTO)?

CHILDREN'S APRON QUESTIONS

What sizes are your children's aprons?

We are super excited to now offer children's aprons to our line-up.  We have four sizes that we offer: Small - 3/4, Medium - 5/6, Large - 7/8, Tween/XL - 10/12.  You can get the full measurements in our Size Guide page.

Are these aprons really for cooking?

ORDERING & PAYMENT

Is there a real live store I can purchase Bambino Amore aprons in?

Unfortunately, no - it's actually way easier for us this way!

Can I call to place my order?

Unfortunately, no :(  At this time we are only a small operation so please place your order through this site or our Etsy shop.

What payment types are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards, but, we do prefer payments made with PayPal.

What is the difference between pre-sale and made-to-order (MTO)?

Pre-Sale means the item is sold for a set time only. When we take it offline, we make exactly what we need to fill the orders you all made, and ship them out by the specified date given on the product page.

Made-to-Order (MTO) means we make them as you order them! Made-to-Order items can take a couple of extra days to ship out, but you can order any time – unlike pre sale where you only have a set amount of time order.

How long until I get my stuff -- how long does it take to receive my order?

Each apron has a different creation time and that can be found in the individual product pages. 

Do you restock items that are sold out?

The only time that our items are ever "sold out" is when we can't find the fabric to recreate it.  However, if you see a sold out item that you just LOVE and have to have, send us a message and we will see if we can find more fabric just for you or if we can find a suitable replacement.  You just never know!

What's up with taxes?

Well, like my math teacher once told me years ago, there are two things in life that you can totally count on -- death and taxes.  So, yep, we do collect taxes for purchases made in the great state of Texas :)

SHIPPING INFORMATION

I'm freaking out -- where's my order?

Take a deep breath and keep in mind that due to the handcrafted nature of our super awesome aprons, they are made-to-order (MTO) and will take some time to create.  So, please take that in to consideration in addition to ship/travel time.

Can I request overnight shipping or upgraded shipping?

You can totally request upgraded shipping -- but, please do so in a conversation.  Please do NOT purchase an item and then ask for upgraded shipping -- as it may not be an option for certain aprons.

 

RETURNS, REFUNDS, and EXCHANGES -- OH MY!

Can I return or exchange my item?

Your love for our aprons is our ultimate concern. We’ll gladly offer returns or exchanges if there is an issue with the item such as a flaw that we may have overlooked. Please be sure to unpack your order promptly and contact us with these concerns within 3 days of its arrival -- we will give you instructions at that time on how to proceed.

** Please note that Custom Items are non-refundable or exchangeable. Why? In almost every case, a custom item is made specifically for your needs -- either smaller, bigger, a custom design, bringing back an old design just for you, or something of that kind. The item is designed and created specifically for YOU!  So please double check your measurements that you provide us.

Please note, return postage is paid by the buyer in all instances (whether it be a return or exchange). If you would like to receive a refund, once the product is received by us, we will begin the refund process.

 


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we totally ship internationally.....just like on our Etsy site, our breakdown is like this: shipping to Canada & Mexico starts at $11.00, shipping to the UK starts at $17.00, and shipping everywhere else starts at $17.50.  If you would like a precise shipping quote from us, please send us out a message before placing your order and we will get you one as soon as possible. 

Who's responsible for duties and what not's for overseas shipping?  Is it included in the price of the sale?

Duties and what not's for overseas shipping is the responsibility of the buyer -- it is NOT included in the purchase price.  What you pay us is for the product itself as well as the shipping to your address -- whatever the fees that the country that we are shipping to is totally up to the recipient.
